It’s possible you’ve been thinking about getting a facelift for some time, but you’re overwhelmed by trying to choose what kind you should get. Should you get BOTOX® for wrinkles or Dysport®? What are the other types of facelift alternatives? At ProMD Health, we offer several different kinds of procedures that will fit in exactly with what you’re looking for. Learn more about your options if you’re looking for a facelift alternative.
BOTOX® or Dysport®?
Both BOTOX® and Dysport® are used for moderate to severe wrinkles that form naturally around the eyes and on the forehead. There are several similarities between these two types of facelift alternatives. These facial treatments are both non-surgical injections that relax the muscles around the forehead, eyes, and other areas. The muscle relaxation will eventually reduce or completely eliminate the appearance of wrinkles.
The injections are quick, efficient, and easy to obtain at ProMD Health. While both can be used for crow’s feet or other eye wrinkles, mouth lines, and forehead wrinkle lines, Dysport® is more frequently used to treat forehead wrinkle lines, while BOTOX® is approved to tackle wrinkle lines on the forehead and around the eyes and mouth. BOTOX® for wrinkles can sometimes last longer, but the effects of Dysport® may appear more quickly. It all depends on the unique case.
