At ProMD Health, we use the Sciton Halo laser for our laser skin resurfacing treatments. The Halo laser is a hybrid fractional laser that combines both ablative and non-ablative laser energy into a single rejuvenating treatment. This revitalizing treatment can be used to reduce the appearance of acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, correct sun damage, and improve the overall tone and texture of your skin. It can be amazing for hand rejuvenation or used as a combo treatment with a filler . Our Halo laser skin resurfacing treatments yield results comparable to traditional fractional and ablative lasers and allows us to achieve results in half the time without accompanying the downtime.
Most patients can achieve optimal results with a series of one to three treatment sessions. The number of halo laser treatment sessions needed for optimal results can vary from patient to patient based on the condition being treated, skin type, and your desired results of treatment. Ideally, one HALO and four BBL Treatments per year can get optimal results.
The results of this laser skin resurfacing treatment typically begin to develop within four to five days of your treatment session and continue to improve for several months following your treatment sessions. Most patients experience the most noticeable improvement in the treated area within two to three weeks of their treatment sessions. Results may vary.
If you are interested in reducing the visible effects of the natural aging process, correcting sun damage, or improving the appearance of acne scarring, you may be a candidate for our Halo laser skin resurfacing treatments. We will review your skin concerns, skin type, and desired results, and determine if this is the right skin rejuvenation treatment for you. We will help develop a customized treatment plan that best suits your needs and helps you achieve your goals of treatment.
