Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Botox and Sculptra?
Botox relaxes the muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles like crow's feet and forehead lines. Sculptra works differently, stimulating your body's own collagen production over time to restore volume and improve skin texture. Many patients benefit from both, used in different areas of the face.
How long do dermal fillers last?
Most hyaluronic acid fillers last between 6 and 18 months depending on the product, treatment area, and your individual metabolism. Sculptra results can last up to two years. Your provider will recommend a maintenance schedule during your consultation.
Am I a good candidate for laser treatments?
Most skin types respond well to modern laser treatments. During your consultation, your provider will evaluate your skin type, concerns, and goals to recommend the most effective laser or combination approach for you.
How many neurotoxin units will I need?
Unit count varies by treatment area and facial anatomy. Most patients use between 20 and 60 units per session. Your provider will recommend the right amount during your consultation, never more than what's needed for a natural result.
Is there downtime with facial aesthetic treatments?
Most injectable treatments like Botox and fillers require no downtime. You can return to normal activities immediately. Laser treatments may involve 1 to 5 days of redness depending on the intensity. Your provider will outline exactly what to expect.
