Avéli™ Cellulite Treatment with Dr. George Gavrila

We’re excited to introduce a new advanced treatment now available at ProMD Health: Avéli™ Cellulite Reduction Release Treatment with Dr. George Gavrila. This innovative, one-time, minimally invasive procedure is designed to smooth the appearance of cellulite dimples by targeting the fibrous bands beneath the skin that create uneven texture. Avéli™ is an excellent option for patients looking for noticeable improvement in the buttocks and thighs with minimal downtime and long-lasting results.

What is Avéli™?

Avéli™ is a minimally invasive, one-time procedure that uses a device beneath the skin to release the fibrous bands that create cellulite dimples. By treating the structural cause of dimpling, Avéli is designed to deliver smoother-looking skin on the buttocks and thighs.

Who is Avéli for?

Avéli is for patients with mild to severe cellulite dimples on the buttocks and or thighs who want noticeable improvement from a one-time treatment. A consultation is the best way to determine candidacy and set realistic expectations based on your individual cellulite pattern.

How does Avéli work?

A small device is used beneath the skin to precisely identify and release the fibrous bands that pull the skin downward, which creates a dimpled appearance. Releasing these bands helps the skin relax and appear smoother in treated areas.

What to expect during treatment

  • Treatment time: Approximately 1 hour
  • Plan: Targeted release of the bands causing cellulite dimples
  • Series or one-time: One-time treatment (not a series)

Downtime and recovery

Avéli typically involves minimal downtime. Most patients return to normal activities within 1 to 2 days. Light activity is fine, and your provider will advise on when to resume strenuous exercise.

Common side effects

  • Bruising
  • Swelling
  • Tenderness or soreness
  • Temporary firmness or numbness in treated areas

These effects typically resolve over several weeks.

When will I see results?

  • Results become visible as swelling and bruising subside
  • Noticeable improvement by about 1 month
  • Continued improvement up to 3 months

How long do results last?

Many patients experience long-term cellulite reduction. Your results can vary based on individual factors, and your provider will review what to expect during your consult. In general, patients often report results that last around 1 to 2 years.

Before and After Results

Many patients begin to notice visible smoothing as swelling subsides, with continued improvement over the following months.

Disclaimer: Individual results may vary. A consultation is the best way to determine expected outcomes based on your unique cellulite pattern and treatment plan.
